Module: WWP-LEOS-MULTICAST-FILTER-MIB

OID (symbolic): WWP-LEOS-MULTICAST-FILTER-MIB::wwpLeosMcastIgmpSnoopEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.7.1.1.4.1.1

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: For LEOS (4.x) IGMP snooping can be enabled on this VLAN by setting this object to 'true'. The Management station should define the router IP address range and the list of server ports before snooping is enabled. SAOS (6.x) does not support setting IGMP snooping per VLAN. Instead it should be enabled globally using the wwpLeosMcastSnoopState MIB object

What is wwpLeosMcastIgmpSnoopEnable?

This enables IGMP snooping on this specific VLAN on LEOS (4.x) platforms by setting it to true, defaulting to false; per the MIB's own note, before enabling this the router IP address range and server-port list should already be configured, and SAOS (6.x) instead uses the global wwpLeosMcastSnoopState object. An admin enables this per-VLAN on older LEOS switches to start IGMP-aware multicast forwarding on that specific broadcast domain.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.7.1.1.4.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> WWP-LEOS-MULTICAST-FILTER-MIB::wwpLeosMcastIgmpSnoopEnable

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.7.1.1.4.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> WWP-LEOS-MULTICAST-FILTER-MIB::wwpLeosMcastIgmpSnoopEnable.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.7.1.1.4.1.1.1 s <value>
