wwpLeosExtLagProtectionRevertState

Module: WWP-LEOS-EXT-LAG-MIB

OID (symbolic): WWP-LEOS-EXT-LAG-MIB::wwpLeosExtLagProtectionRevertState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.14.1.1.3.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies that if the primary port goes from operationally disabled to operationally enabled it shall become active, and one of the secondary ports shall become backup if this MIB object is set to 'on' and the wwpLeosLagProtectionRevertTimer timer expires.

What is wwpLeosExtLagProtectionRevertState?

This field controls whether the LAG automatically reverts back to a restored primary port as active once it comes back up and the revert timer expires. Admins turn this on to prefer a designated primary port automatically resuming its active role after recovering from a failure, rather than staying on the current active port indefinitely. For example, setting wwpLeosExtLagProtectionRevertState to on(1) causes the LAG to automatically switch back to the primary port once it's restored and the configured revert timer elapses.
