What is msppDevWRED?
This OID enables or disables Weighted Random Early Discard (WRED), a congestion-avoidance mechanism that proactively drops some packets before a queue completely fills. Operators enable it to reduce the risk of synchronized TCP retransmission storms during sustained congestion.
