baseIfIndex

Module: WIRELESS-MIB

OID (symbolic): WIRELESS-MIB::baseIfIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.10.1.4.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The value of this object identifies the wireless interface for which this entry contains management information. The value of this object for a particular interface has the same value as the IfIndex object defined in MIB-II for the same interface.

What is baseIfIndex?

Identifies which wireless interface on this device the row describes, using the same value as the standard MIB-II ifIndex for that interface, so it can be cross-referenced against ifTable entries.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.10.1.4.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> WIRELESS-MIB::baseIfIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.10.1.4.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> WIRELESS-MIB::baseIfIndex.1
