Module: WAN
OID (symbolic): WAN::wanSignal
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.27662.2.1.2.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: WAN signal strength in dBm unit. Remark: If the value equals -9999, means signal strength not applicable in this WAN.
What is wanSignal?
The signal strength of this WAN connection, in dBm; a value of -9999 means signal strength doesn't apply to this WAN type (e.g. a wired uplink). Relevant mainly for cellular WAN links, where a weak reading explains poor throughput or dropped connections.
