vmwNsxMServiceComposerOutOfSyncSectionDeletionFailure
Module: VMWARE-NSX-MANAGER-MIB
OID (symbolic): VMWARE-NSX-MANAGER-MIB::vmwNsxMServiceComposerOutOfSyncSectionDeletionFailure
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.90.1.2.10.0.9
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description: Service Composer encountered an error while deleting the section corresponding to the Policy. This generally happens if third party(NetX) service's Manager is not reachable. Action required: Administrator needs to check connectivity with third party(NetX) service's Manager. Once the connectivity is restored, user would need to resolve the alarm. Alarm can either be resolved from Service Composer UI or by using alarms API. Frequency of traps: This trap is generated only once if a failure is encountered while deleting a Policy's section on Policy deletion.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' VMWARE-NSX-MANAGER-MIB::vmwNsxMServiceComposerOutOfSyncSectionDeletionFailure snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.90.1.2.10.0.9
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:65248->[192.168.30.10]:162]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (396091104) 45 days, 20:15:11.04 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: VMWARE-NSX-MANAGER-MIB::vmwNsxMServiceComposerOutOfSyncSectionDeletionFailure
