Description: The number of bits used to encode a pixel or series of pixels in the current video format on this channel. This shall be the same as the 'depth' parameter from the SDP mapping description. If not required (e.g. the format is MPEG-4 compressed) the value shall be 0.
What is channelVideoBitDepth?
Reports the bit depth currently in use for pixels on this channel, or 0 if not applicable (e.g. compressed format) or the channel is idle. Admins compare this to the expected value from the selected preset format to confirm the channel came up correctly.
