channelStatus

Module: VIVOE-MIB

OID (symbolic): VIVOE-MIB::channelStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.35990.3.1.3.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The current status of the channel. Setting the value of this object shall also be used to start or stop the encoding or decoding on the channel. Other objects shall be used to set parameters and settings on the channel before the channel is started or re-started. The status types defined are: 1 - Start encoding or decoding on the channel. 2 - Stop encoding or decoding on the channel. 3 - When the object is set to single frame, a service provider will immediately transmit a single frame of video, if this functionality is implemented.

What is channelStatus?

Controls and reports whether this channel is actively encoding/decoding: start, stop, or singleFrame (transmit one frame immediately, if supported). Admins set other channel objects first, then use this to actually start or stop the video stream on the channel.
