Description: The maximum number of trap targets that this device can support.

If the value of this variable is -1, the device is capable of supporting a theoretically infinite number of trap targets dynamically. In othercases, the maximum number of trap targets that can be supported by this device is limited to the value of this variable.

What is vfTrapTargMaxTargets?

This object reports the maximum number of trap targets (destinations for SNMP notifications) that this device can support, with -1 meaning it supports an effectively unlimited number dynamically. Admins use it to know how many separate management stations they can configure to receive traps from this device. For example, a value of 4 would mean the device can be configured to send traps to at most four separate trap receiver addresses.
