What is vdsx1channelState?

This read-write value reports (and can force) the current call state of this channel, such as out-of-service, idle, an in-progress inbound or outbound call, various ringing/digit-collection sub-states, or call establishment/clearing in progress. An admin reads this to see exactly what a given channel is doing right now, and in some implementations can set it to manually force a channel back to idle or out-of-service when it appears stuck.
