Module: VERTICALT1-E1-MIB

OID (symbolic): VERTICALT1-E1-MIB::vdsx1TrunkMasterPriority

Access: read-write

Description: Designates the priority for selecting which trunk is to drive the MVIP SEC8K clock, i.e. which trunk drives the master timing system. This value must be diffrent for each Trunk in the system.Valid values mean: notUsed (100)=> never choose this trunk as clock master primary (1)=> choose this trunk as first choice firstAlternate (2)=> choose this trunk as second choice secondAlternate (3)=> choose this trunk as third choice

What is vdsx1TrunkMasterPriority?

This read-write value sets this trunk's priority ('primary', 'firstAlternate', 'secondAlternate', or 'notUsed') for being selected as the source of the MVIP SEC8K master timing clock; this value must be unique across every trunk in the system. An admin sets this to control clock-source failover order across multiple T1/E1 trunks, ensuring the system always has a defined next choice if the current clock-master trunk fails.
