What is vdslChanIntervalBadBlks?

This counter reports the number of uncorrectable data blocks detected on a VDSL channel during a specific measurement interval. VDSL uses Forward Error Correction (FEC) to detect and correct transmission errors; blocks that exceed correctable limits are counted as bad blocks. Operators monitor bad block counts to assess line quality and diagnose VDSL connection issues, as high counts indicate signal degradation or excessive noise.
