What is vdslChanFixedOctets?
This counter tracks the cumulative number of octets (bytes) that were transmitted with error correction applied on a VDSL channel since the last device reset. VDSL uses Forward Error Correction to recover from transmission errors, so this metric shows how much data had to be corrected to maintain line quality. Operators review this counter to assess VDSL line health and the effectiveness of error correction.
