What is vcByteCountIn?

This counter tracks the total number of inbound bytes counted against a specific Virtual Channel (VC). Admins use it to monitor how much download traffic is being classified into that particular traffic policy. For example, a steadily rising value here for a 'VoIP-Priority' VC would confirm voice traffic is being correctly classified and counted.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2603.1.3.1.1.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> VC-MIB::vcByteCountIn

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2603.1.3.1.1.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> VC-MIB::vcByteCountIn.1
