Module: Unisphere-Data-SUBSCRIBER-MIB

OID (symbolic): Unisphere-Data-SUBSCRIBER-MIB::usdSubscrLocalNamePrefix

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.49.1.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: UsdEnable

Description: If enabled, indicates whether the value of usdSubscrLocalName is a prefix rather than a full name.

What is usdSubscrLocalNamePrefix?

This read-write UsdEnable indicates whether usdSubscrLocalName should be treated as just a prefix rather than the subscriber's full name. When enabled, the device builds the complete subscriber name by appending local geographic information (such as slot and port) to this prefix, which lets an admin apply one shared naming pattern across many physical ports. Enabling usdSubscrLocalNamePrefix with usdSubscrLocalName set to "cust" would have the device construct full names like "cust-slot2-port4" per physical location.
