What is usdSmdsIfLowerIfIndex?
This read-create value identifies the ifIndex of the lower-layer interface that this SMDS interface is layered on top of, with zero meaning no layering. It's required at row creation to tell the system which physical or logical interface carries the SMDS traffic. An admin stacking an SMDS interface over a specific ATM or serial interface would set this to that interface's ifIndex.
