usrRemotePingData

Module: USR-REMOTE-PING-MIB

OID (symbolic): USR-REMOTE-PING-MIB::usrRemotePingData

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.4.37.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-create

Description: This object specifies the data to be transmitted. If the length of this object is bigger than usrRemotePingSize, only the first usrRemotePingSize octets will be used. If the length of this object is zero, the agent will use random data. If the length of this object is smaller than usrRemotePingSize, the data pattern will be repeated as many times as necessary to fill up the transmission buffer. This object cannot be modified whenever usrRemotePingRowStatus is 'active'.

What is usrRemotePingData?

The specific byte pattern to transmit as ping payload; if shorter than usrRemotePingSize it repeats to fill the buffer, if longer it's truncated, and if left empty the agent fills the payload with random data instead. This can't be changed while the row is active.
