Description: The total number of PPPoE Sessions since reboot
What is usrPPPoETotalNumberSessions?
This read-only counter reports the cumulative total number of PPPoE sessions established since the device last rebooted, unlike usrPPPoENumberSessions which reflects only currently active sessions. An admin uses this to gauge overall PPPoE session churn and turnover rate on the concentrator over its uptime. For example, a usrPPPoETotalNumberSessions far higher than usrPPPoENumberSessions indicates a high rate of subscribers connecting and disconnecting rather than a small number of long-lived sessions.
