What is umPingerPctUp?

The MIB source ships this object with an empty DESCRIPTION, but its name and OCTET STRING syntax indicate it reports the percentage of umPingerTimeTotal during which the target responded to pings, likely pre-formatted as a text string. Illustratively, an admin would read this directly as an uptime percentage without needing to compute it from the raw time counters. For example, the value might read "99.95" to indicate near-continuous ping reachability.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.3.1001.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> UM-PINGER-MIB::umPingerPctUp

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.3.1001.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> UM-PINGER-MIB::umPingerPctUp.1
