tnPtpClockDefaultDSInfoTwoStepFlag

Module: TROPIC-PTP-MIB

OID (symbolic): TROPIC-PTP-MIB::tnPtpClockDefaultDSInfoTwoStepFlag

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.7483.2.2.4.9.1.2.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-only

Description: This is an indicator of whether master-slave synchronization utilizes follow-up messaging (IEEE 1588-2008 Section 8.2.1.2.1.). This parameter is read-only. A PTP port has a configurable parameter which determines if follow-up messaging will be used for this port.

true: If some of the PTP ports in the clock uses follow-up messaging. false: If none of the PTP ports in the clock uses follow-up messaging.

What is tnPtpClockDefaultDSInfoTwoStepFlag?

Reports whether any of this clock's PTP ports use two-step (follow-up message) synchronization rather than one-step timestamping; true if at least one port does, false if none do. Each port's own two-step setting is individually configurable via tnPtpPortDSConfigTwoStepFlag.
