Description: The total number of TRIP messages received from the remote peer on this connection since the last restart of this LS.

What is tripPeerInTotalMessages?

This is a running counter of all TRIP messages (not just updates) received from this remote peer since this location server last restarted. Admins use it as a broader activity measure than tripPeerInUpdates, which counts only update messages.
