tripPeerAdminStatus

Module: TRIP-MIB

OID (symbolic): TRIP-MIB::tripPeerAdminStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.116.1.4.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: This object is used to affect the TRIP connection state.

up(1) : Allow a connection with the peer LS.

down(2) : disconnect the connection from the peer LS and do not allow any further connections to this

peer.

If this value is set to down(2) then tripPeerState will have the value of idle(1).

What is tripPeerAdminStatus?

This sets whether a connection to this specific remote peer is administratively allowed (up) or should be torn down and blocked from reconnecting (down); setting it to down forces tripPeerState back to idle. Admins use it to manually disable one problematic peer without affecting any others.
