Module: TRANSMODE1100
OID (symbolic): TRANSMODE1100::trm76xxCDR
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11857.1.2.2.4.1.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CDRMode
Access: read-write
Description: This parameter indicates the working mode of the CDR clock recovery circuit. Can be auto3R(1), bypass2R(2), custom(3),fddiOR100Base-FX(4), stm1orOC-3(5), video270Mbps(6), stm4orOC-12(7), gigabitEthernet(8), fibreChannel(9), fibreChannelx2(10), stm16orOC-48(11) or gigabitEthernetx2(12). custom(3) can not be set, it just indicates if a custom protocol is set with oid trm76xxCustomFibRate.
What is trm76xxCDR?
Selects the working mode of the unit's CDR (clock and data recovery) circuit, e.g. auto3R(1) for automatic reshape/retime/regenerate, bypass2R(2), or specific protocol modes like stm1orOC-3(5) or gigabitEthernet(8); custom(3) is read-only and simply reflects that a custom rate was set via trm76xxCustomFibRate. An admin sets this to match the exact client protocol the unit must regenerate, or to bypass2R when full 3R regeneration is not wanted.
