Description: The slot of the hardware whose state has changed. If the hardware element is not a board, this value identifies it as a chassis, fan, power supply, PEM, etc.
What is tptHardwareNotifySlot?
Carries the slot (or, for non-board elements, the chassis/fan/power-supply/PEM identity) whose hardware state changed, as reported in a notification. It tells the receiving management station exactly which hardware location triggered the alert.
