tnZTPAutoDiscoveryNotification

Module: TN-ZERO-TOUCH-PROVISION-MIB

OID (symbolic): TN-ZERO-TOUCH-PROVISION-MIB::tnZTPAutoDiscoveryNotification

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.12.0.1

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: A tnAutoProvDiscoveryNotification trap is sent when the device receives a provisioning server (EMS) address from DHCP server. The objects in the notification correspond to the values in scalar instance in SNMPv2-MIB and row instances in the ifTable, entPhysicalTable, tnIpMgmtTable and tnIpextMgmtTable. At most one of the tnIpAddr or tnIpv6Addr could be zero length, which means the IPv4 or IPv6 address, correspondingly, is not supported at the time this notification is sent.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' TN-ZERO-TOUCH-PROVISION-MIB::tnZTPAutoDiscoveryNotification
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.12.0.1

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:50307->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (484022915) 56 days, 0:30:29.15
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: TN-ZERO-TOUCH-PROVISION-MIB::tnZTPAutoDiscoveryNotification
