Description: To mode of the Zero Touch Provision. The none(0) disable the ZTP auto discovery. The dhcp(1) enable the ZTP auto discovery through dhcp.
What is tnZTPAutoDiscoveryMode?
This value controls how the device's Zero Touch Provisioning feature discovers its initial configuration when first powered on: none(0) disables automatic discovery entirely, while dhcp(1), the default, enables discovery via DHCP options that point the device to a provisioning server. Administrators set this to control whether a freshly unboxed or factory-reset switch will automatically fetch its configuration from the network or wait for manual setup instead. For example, in a large rollout an admin would leave this at dhcp(1) so hundreds of new switches auto-configure themselves as soon as they're plugged into a network with the right DHCP options configured.
