Description: The distance between two calculations is Dist periods. Note: In configurations with Timestamp enabled PHYs, the period is automatically increased, if (period*dist < SyncPackets pr sec/4), i.e. max 4 adjustments are made pr sec. If Dist is 1 the offset is averaged over the Period, If Dist is >1 the offset is calculated using 'min' offset. The value must be in the range of 1..10
What is tnPtpFilterDist?
Sets the distance, in periods (1-10), between successive offset calculations; a value of 1 averages the offset over the whole Period, while values above 1 use the minimum offset seen instead. With timestamp-enabled PHYs the actual period is auto-increased so no more than about 4 adjustments happen per second.
