What is tnPortSpeedCurrent?
This read-only INTEGER reports the link speed and duplex mode actually in effect on this port right now, ranging from unknown(1) when the link is down to specific values like fdx1Gbps(6) or fdx10Gbps(8). An admin checks it to confirm what speed a port actually negotiated to, which may differ from what tnPortSpeedConfigured requested if auto-negotiation settled on something else. Seeing tnPortSpeedCurrent report fdx100mbps(5) when the admin expected Gigabit would indicate an auto-negotiation mismatch with the connected device worth investigating.
