tnIfRedundancy
Module: TN-MGMT-MIB
OID (symbolic): TN-MGMT-MIB::tnIfRedundancy
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.2.4.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This feature is applicable in the devices that have 2 fiber ports and support redundancy on the ports. When set to enabled, the primary and backup fiber ports are assumed to be connected to the same destination. Only one of these paths will be active at any given time, and the configuration settings kept in sync between the ports. When set to disabled, the primary and backup ports are assumed to be connected to different destinations, and lose their special functions.
What is tnIfRedundancy?
This read-write object enables or disables port redundancy for devices with paired fiber ports, allowing them to act as active-backup or independent connections. When enabled, the two ports are assumed connected to the same destination with only one active at a time, and configuration is kept synchronized between them. When disabled, the ports operate as independent links connected to different destinations.
