tnIfRedundRevert
Module: TN-MGMT-MIB
OID (symbolic): TN-MGMT-MIB::tnIfRedundRevert
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.2.4.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This mib variable is applicable only if 'tnIfRedundancy' is enabled. When there is a failure in the primary and secondary fiber takes over, this determines what happens when primary comes back again. Does the link switch back to primary or the secondary takes over as the primary link.
What is tnIfRedundRevert?
This read-write setting, applicable only when tnIfRedundancy is enabled, controls what happens after a primary fiber port that had failed comes back online: 'revert' switches traffic back to the primary, while 'noRevert' leaves the secondary port active as the current primary. Admins choose noRevert when they'd rather avoid a second traffic-affecting switchover once the failed link is only marginally stable again.
