Description:

A tnDMITemperatureEvt event is sent when there is a warning or alarm on DMI temperature.

What is tnDMITemperatureEvt?

This notification event fires when a warning or alarm condition is detected on the Digital Monitoring Interface (DMI) temperature sensor of a transceiver module. The notification includes the interface index, alarm level, and current temperature reading. Operators use this alert to prevent thermal damage to optical modules by monitoring and responding to overheating conditions.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
