Description: This mib variable can be used to clear all Link OAM statisitical counters for this interface.
What is tnLOAMIfClearStats?
This is a write-triggered action object that clears all Link OAM (802.3ah) statistical counters for a given interface when set to reset(1); setting it to doNothing(2) has no effect. An administrator uses this to zero out OAM counters before starting a fresh troubleshooting session, so new events aren't mixed in with stale historical counts. For example, setting tnLOAMIfClearStats to reset(1) on a flapping interface clears its OAM error counters right before the admin begins monitoring it for new issues.
