tnAceArpIpEthernetLength

Module: TN-ACL-MIB

OID (symbolic): TN-ACL-MIB::tnAceArpIpEthernetLength

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.5.6.1.14

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValueOrAny

Access: read-write

Description: Specify whether frames can hit the action according to their ARP/RARP hardware address length (HLN) and protocol address length (PLN) settings. 0: ARP/RARP frames where the HLN is not equal to Ethernet (0x06) or the (PLN) is not equal to IPv4 (0x04). 1: ARP/RARP frames where the HLN is equal to Ethernet (0x06) and the (PLN) is equal to IPv4 (0x04). Any: Any value is allowed ('dont-care').

What is tnAceArpIpEthernetLength?

Checks whether the ARP/RARP frame's hardware-length (HLN=6, Ethernet) and protocol-length (PLN=4, IPv4) fields are the expected standard values, flagging malformed ARP packets that don't conform; 'any' skips the check.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.5.6.1.14
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TN-ACL-MIB::tnAceArpIpEthernetLength

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.5.6.1.14.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TN-ACL-MIB::tnAceArpIpEthernetLength.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.868.2.5.3.1.1.5.6.1.14.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> tnAceArpIpEthernetLength.1
