fibTmuFunctUseMismatchRun

Module: TMU-MIB

OID (symbolic): TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctUseMismatchRun

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Indication on whether to apply recovery when the number of stations is larger than the number of open ports. Values: 1 - FALSE, 2 - TRUE. Factory default: TRUE. To change this object, load 'fibTmuFunctUseMismatchPerm' into non-volatile ram. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.

What is fibTmuFunctUseMismatchRun?

This is the run-time (currently effective) value of whether to apply recovery when the number of stations detected is larger than the number of open ports. Valid range is a boolean (FALSE/TRUE); factory default is TRUE. This is a read-only snapshot of what's actually in effect right now -- to change it, an admin must set fibTmuFunctUseMismatchPerm and then reset the system, since the new value only takes effect in this Run object after a reset. Admins leave this enabled so a station-count mismatch (a sign something is wrong) triggers automatic recovery.
