fibTmuFunctUseMismatchPerm

Module: TMU-MIB

OID (symbolic): TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctUseMismatchPerm

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Indication on whether to apply recovery when the number of stations is larger than the number of open ports. Values: 1 - FALSE, 2 - TRUE. Factory default: TRUE. Setting this variable loads it into non volatile memory. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.

What is fibTmuFunctUseMismatchPerm?

This sets, in non-volatile memory, whether to apply recovery when the number of stations detected is larger than the number of open ports. Valid range is a boolean (FALSE/TRUE); factory default is TRUE. Setting this object stores the new value for the next reset, but does not change the currently-effective fibTmuFunctUseMismatchRun value until the system is actually reset. Admins leave this enabled so a station-count mismatch (a sign something is wrong) triggers automatic recovery, then schedule a reset to apply the change.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.12
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctUseMismatchPerm

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.12.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctUseMismatchPerm.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.12.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> fibTmuFunctUseMismatchPerm.1
