fibTmuFunctUseJitterPerm

Module: TMU-MIB

OID (symbolic): TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctUseJitterPerm

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.18

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Indication on whether to use the jitter buster hardware module or not. Values: 1 - FALSE, 2 - TRUE. Factory default: TRUE. Setting this variable loads it into non volatile memory. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.

What is fibTmuFunctUseJitterPerm?

This sets, in non-volatile memory, whether to use the jitter-buster hardware module. Valid range is a boolean (FALSE/TRUE); factory default is TRUE. Setting this object stores the new value for the next reset, but does not change the currently-effective fibTmuFunctUseJitterRun value until the system is actually reset. Admins leave this enabled unless the jitter-buster module needs to be bypassed for a specific hardware troubleshooting reason, then schedule a reset to apply the change.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.18
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctUseJitterPerm

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.18.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctUseJitterPerm.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.18.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> fibTmuFunctUseJitterPerm.1
