fibTmuFunctTmsOnOutPerm

Module: TMU-MIB

OID (symbolic): TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctTmsOnOutPerm

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Parameter indicating the tms to leave out of the ring when carrying out 'warp out': It could be TMS no. 2 (TMS OUT) or the TMS which is on the secondary ring. values: (TMS OUT) 1, (TMS SECONDARY) 2 Factory default: (TMS OUT) 1 Setting this variable loads it into non volatile memory. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.

What is fibTmuFunctTmsOnOutPerm?

This sets, in non-volatile memory, which TMS (interface chipset) to leave out of the ring when carrying out a 'warp out': TMS OUT (value 1) or the TMS on the secondary ring (value 2). Valid range is 1 to 2; factory default is 1 (TMS OUT). Setting this object stores the new value for the next reset, but does not change the currently-effective fibTmuFunctTmsOnOutRun value until the system is actually reset. Admins set this according to which chipset should be excluded from the ring during a warp-out operation on this hardware configuration, then schedule a reset to apply the change.
