fibTmuFunctRemWrapTypeRun

Module: TMU-MIB

OID (symbolic): TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctRemWrapTypeRun

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.1.26

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Parameter indicating the criterion for removing 'wrap': It could be removed when the ring is not beaconing and it could be removed when the ring is not claiming. values: (NOT BEACONING) 1, (NOT CLAIMING) 2 Factory default: (NOT BEACONING) 1 To change this object, load 'fibTmuFunctRemWrapTypePerm' into non-volatile ram. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.

What is fibTmuFunctRemWrapTypeRun?

This is the run-time (currently effective) value of the criterion for deciding when 'wrap' can be removed: once the ring is not beaconing (value 1) or once the ring is not claiming (value 2). Valid range is 1 to 2; factory default is 1 (NOT BEACONING). This is a read-only snapshot of what's actually in effect right now -- to change it, an admin must set fibTmuFunctRemWrapTypePerm and then reset the system, since the new value only takes effect in this Run object after a reset. Admins choose the criterion that matches how conservatively the system should decide the ring has recovered enough to remove a wrap.
