fibTmuFunctReadPerPerm

Module: TMU-MIB

OID (symbolic): TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctReadPerPerm

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.24

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Parameter indicating the elapsed time between two readings of the error counter of a TMS. Too large a period may result in counter overflow. A value of '0' indicates 'read every TR driver poll' Units: milli seconds. Minimal value: 0. maximal value 5000. Factory default: 5000. Setting this variable loads it into non volatile memory. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.

What is fibTmuFunctReadPerPerm?

This sets, in non-volatile memory, the elapsed time between two readings of a TMS's error counter (too long a period risks the counter overflowing; a value of 0 means read on every token ring driver poll). Valid range is 0 to 5000 (milliseconds); factory default is 5000. Setting this object stores the new value for the next reset, but does not change the currently-effective fibTmuFunctReadPerRun value until the system is actually reset. Admins shorten this if error counters are at risk of overflowing between reads on a very busy or noisy ring, then schedule a reset to apply the change.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.24
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctReadPerPerm

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.24.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctReadPerPerm.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.24.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> fibTmuFunctReadPerPerm.1
