fibTmuFunctCheckAogTauPerm
Module: TMU-MIB
OID (symbolic): TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctCheckAogTauPerm
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.2.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Flag is used during BRUTAL recovery (single problem). If TRUE (checck-ring) then check whether the ring is BEACONING after opening the good TAU's (This check takes fibTmuFunctOk2BeaconRun milli sec. and not needed in most cases). Values: 1 - FALSE, 2 - TRUE. Factory default: FALSE. Setting this variable loads it into non volatile memory. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.
What is fibTmuFunctCheckAogTauPerm?
This sets, in non-volatile memory, whether, during BRUTAL recovery (single problem), to check if the ring is beaconing after opening the good TAUs (a check that takes about fibTmuFunctOk2BeaconRun's worth of time and usually isn't needed). Valid range is a boolean (FALSE/TRUE); factory default is FALSE. Setting this object stores the new value for the next reset, but does not change the currently-effective fibTmuFunctCheckAogTauRun value until the system is actually reset. Admins enable this only if recovery needs an extra beaconing check after re-opening the known-good TAUs, at the cost of a slower recovery cycle, then schedule a reset to apply the change.
