Description: The time period for starting the 'autoremove' test after start of beaconing. In units of milliseconds. Minimal value: 160. maximal value 200. Factory default: 160. Setting this variable loads it into non volatile memory. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.

What is fibTmuFunctBeacon2AutotestPerm?

This sets, in non-volatile memory, the time period for starting the 'autoremove' test after the start of beaconing. Valid range is 160 to 200 (milliseconds); factory default is 160. Setting this object stores the new value for the next reset, but does not change the currently-effective fibTmuFunctBeacon2AutotestRun value until the system is actually reset. Admins tune this to control how quickly the device begins its automatic fault-isolation test once beaconing (a hard ring fault) is detected, then schedule a reset to apply the change.
