fibTmuFunctAnotherCheckRun

Module: TMU-MIB

OID (symbolic): TMU-MIB::fibTmuFunctAnotherCheckRun

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.60.8.1.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Indication on whether to perform another check before disabling a port as a cross check. Values: 1 - FALSE, 2 - TRUE. Factory default: FALSE. To change this object, load 'fibTmuFunctAnotherCheckPerm' into non-volatile ram. The value written into non volatile memory is loaded into the current value only after reset.

What is fibTmuFunctAnotherCheckRun?

This is the run-time (currently effective) value of whether to perform an additional cross-check before disabling a port. Valid range is a boolean (FALSE/TRUE); factory default is FALSE. This is a read-only snapshot of what's actually in effect right now -- to change it, an admin must set fibTmuFunctAnotherCheckPerm and then reset the system, since the new value only takes effect in this Run object after a reset. Admins enable this for extra confidence before a port is disabled, at the cost of a slower fault-isolation decision.
