What is fibTmuBreakEc?
This cyclic counter tallies how many times the SCC reported a break character was received; meaningful for serial interfaces only. Admins watch it because a break condition can be deliberately sent by some terminal tools or can indicate a serial line fault; a count that grows outside of expected console activity would flag a line problem. For example, unexpected break characters appearing on an unattended serial console link would prompt an admin to check for a faulty cable or a connected device sending spurious breaks.
