OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1978.2.1.3.1

Type: INTEGER

What is tigPoolNumEntries?

On a write, this value specifies how many buffer pools the admin wants created; on a read, it reports how many buffer pools can actually be created (up to 10). Admins use it as the first step in provisioning custom memory buffer pools before configuring each pool's size and thresholds individually. It functions as both an input and a status field depending on the direction of access.
