autifOFEPKeepAliveTimeout

Module: TIGER

OID (symbolic): TIGER::autifOFEPKeepAliveTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1978.2.1.5.2.1.29

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: OFEP Keepalive period (in SECONDS). OFEP Keepalive messages are generated by the OFEP processor ONLY. The Tiger will monitor the time intervals between OFEP Keepalive messages - this counter is the timeout period that will lead to recovery action by the Tiger (i.e. the reset of the TCP socket). If the timer is set to zero (0), then KeepAlive monitoring is disabled.

The KeepAlive monitor is active for all terminal devices associated with this IA.

This variable is only written to if the item 'autifService' is set to either 'ofep-sabre' or 'ofep-sabre-listener'.

What is autifOFEPKeepAliveTimeout?

This read-write value, in seconds, sets how long the Tiger waits between OFEP keepalive messages, which are generated only by the OFEP processor, before declaring the connection dead and resetting the TCP socket. Setting it to zero disables keepalive monitoring entirely. It only applies when autifService is ofep-sabre or ofep-sabre-listener, and defaults to 150 seconds.
