Module: TELESTE-LUMINATO-MIB
OID (symbolic): TELESTE-LUMINATO-MIB::fecUncorrectedPkts
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3715.17.3.20.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter32
Access: read-write
Description: Number of missing media stream packets after FEC decoding. Writing any value in this oid will clear all ProMpegFec related counters on the current interface.
What is fecUncorrectedPkts?
A running count of media-stream packets still missing after ProMPEG FEC decoding on this interface, i.e. losses the FEC could not repair. A rising count means the input stream's packet loss is exceeding this FEC configuration's correction capability, and operators typically respond by increasing FEC overhead or investigating the upstream network.
