What is pim71Reason?
This trap varbind is populated when Teldat's PIM subsystem raises event PIM.71 (a PIM Bootstrap message received but ignored); it carries the reason the Bootstrap message was ignored, encoded as a text string. An admin reads the accompanying free-text message directly in the trap/log to understand what the router observed, without needing to correlate it against a separate log file.
