What is pim1IfcName?
This trap varbind is populated when Teldat's PIM subsystem raises event PIM.1 (an event related to the PIM protocol running on a virtual interface); it carries the interface name the event occurred on, encoded as a text string. An admin uses it to pin the event to a specific physical or logical interface on the router, e.g. ethernet0/1, when diagnosing multicast routing/PIM neighbor problems.
