What is pim18Interface?
This trap varbind is populated when Teldat's PIM subsystem raises event PIM.18 (the local router winning DR (Designated Router) election on an interface); it carries the interface name the event applies to, encoded as a text string. An admin uses it to pin the event to a specific physical or logical interface on the router, e.g. ethernet0/1, when diagnosing multicast routing/PIM neighbor problems.
