Module: TELDAT-MON-FEATURES-TIDP-MASTER-MIB

OID (symbolic): TELDAT-MON-FEATURES-TIDP-MASTER-MIB::tidpMasterEquipmentStatus

Description: Entry status: (0) initial: no operation is being performed. (1) waiting: the management process has begun and is running and the TIDP Master is waiting to get reachability to the remote equipment. (2) managing: the remote equipment is ready to be managed; its IP address is now readable in tidpEquipmentAddress. (3) reset: a reset command has been sent to the remote equipment.

What is tidpMasterEquipmentStatus?

This read-only enumerated value reports the management lifecycle state of an equipment entry: initial(0) meaning no operation, waiting(1) meaning the management process has begun and is waiting for reachability, managing(2) meaning the router is ready and its IP address is now readable, or reset(3) meaning a reset command has been sent. Admins poll it to track whether a newly added router has become reachable and ready to manage. A status of waiting(1) that persists tells the admin the TIDP Master still cannot reach the target router, unlike managing(2) which confirms successful contact.
